个人简述 

孟彤,教育学博士,毕业于英国杜伦大学(Durham University),现任宁波大学外国语学院讲师。研究方向包括跨文化交际、二语习得与对外英语教学(TESOL)、数字媒介与传播、国际学生流动、教育社会学。博士研究聚焦中国留学生在跨文化背景下的数字亲密关系实践,探讨不同文化及数字平台如何影响青年群体对亲密关系、性别规范与跨国流动的理解与协商。孟彤2019年获伦敦大学学院UCL教育学院TESOL专业硕士学位(Distinction),系统接受二语习得、英语教学法、语言教育与课堂实践等方面训练。研究成果发表于 Feminist Media StudiesSociological Research OnlineChinese Journal of Communication 等国际期刊。


Tong Meng holds a PhD in Education from Durham University and is currently a Lecturer at the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Ningbo University. Her research interests include intercultural communication, second language acquisition and TESOL, digital media and communication, international student mobility, and the sociology of education. Her doctoral research examined Chinese international students’ practices of digital intimacy in intercultural contexts, with a particular focus on how cultural norms and digital platforms shape young people’s understandings and negotiations of intimacy, gender norms, and transnational mobility. She received an MA in TESOL with Distinction from the UCL Institute of Education in 2019, where she received systematic training in second language acquisition, English language teaching, language education, and classroom practice. Her work has been published in Feminist Media Studies, Sociological Research Online, and Chinese Journal of Communication.

Tong Meng’s research focuses on intercultural communication, digital media, international student mobility, gender, and intimacy, with a particular focus on international students’ intimate practices, intercultural interactions, and identity construction in digitally mediated environments. 教学经历

曾在英国杜伦大学担任多门课程的客座讲师,参与课堂教学、专题研讨和课程支持工作。全英教授课程包括 Cultural Identity, Interculturality and EducationContemporary Issues and Evidence in Education 以及 Double Dissertation: Disciplinary Contexts of Education 等。此外,曾受邀在英国诺丁汉大学 Culture and Society of Contemporary China 课程中进行客座讲授,围绕当代中国社会与文化规范等主题开展教学。

在高校教学之外,曾于新东方教育科技集团担任雅思及托福教师,负责教学设计、课程材料开发及学生学术英语能力培养,积累了较为丰富的英语教学与标准化考试培训经验。教学中注重将二语习得、TESOL与跨文化研究融入课堂实践,关注学生语言应用能力、学术表达能力与跨文化沟通能力的综合提升。

Tong Meng has taught and provided curriculum support for a number of modules at Durham University, contributing to lectures, seminars, and course delivery. Modules taught in English include Cultural Identity, Interculturality and Education, Contemporary Issues and Evidence in Education, and Double Dissertation: Disciplinary Contexts of Education. She was also invited to deliver a guest lecture for the module Culture and Society of Contemporary China at the University of Nottingham, where she taught on contemporary Chinese society and cultural norms.

Beyond higher education, she worked as an IELTS and TOEFL instructor at New Oriental Education & Technology Group, where she was responsible for lesson planning, teaching materials development, and students’ academic English training. Her teaching integrates insights from second language acquisition, TESOL, and intercultural studies, with an emphasis on enhancing students’ language competence, academic communication, and intercultural communicative skills.
